Hungry Hippie
We fell in love with the North Shore and made it our home. We built a hostel for adventurous travelers just outside of Grand Marais. We named it Hungry Hippie. Then, we decided our town needed a legit taco joint.
From there, the business has grown and grown and we opened a second location in Duluth. One thing has been true since day one: create authentic northern tacos with the freshest of ingredients and house- smoked meats and sides.
Our menu continues to grow and evolve every day because we are constantly exploring new ideas and flavors. We have a ton of fun in our kitchens and our number one mission is to make you smile. Stop by either of our locations to explore northern tacos with us.

Before founding Hungry Hippie Tacos, Kate had years of experience working in kitchens with award-wining chefs in the Twin Cities and beyond. She brings the highest level of creativity and good vibes into the Hungry Hippie kitchen on a daily basis.

Jeremy Keeble

Jeremy has a diverse background in construction and adventure. While thru hiking crazy long trails, he had plenty of time to strategize building an amazing business. He has helped build a solid team at Hungry Hippie that focuses on one thing day in and day out: putting smiles on customer’s faces.

Casey started out up the shore at the Grand Marais location and then helped strategize and open the Duluth shop. He brings the taco love every single day and makes sure that the great people of Duluth have the freshest northern tacos at their disposal.
